I love, love, love DIY subscription boxes, so I decided to give Designher Kit a try. The July shipment was my first one from the company. Let's take a look.
Designher Kit is based in Canada, hence all the official-looking stickers on the mailing envelope.
The supplies...
Designher Kit provides project instructions on its website, so I've grabbed photos from there to show the jewelry that I'll be making.
1. Boho bracelet. This is cute! I love multi-wrap bracelets, and I especially love the color of this one. It'll be a fun piece to create.
2. Hip chain. This is a different look, and at first I wasn't too sure about it. However, the more that I think about it, the more that I like it. I could see this chain as being potentially annoying, what with all the sitting down that a person tends to do throughout the day, but I'll give it a shot.
3. Mosaic necklace. Another winner! As with the bracelet, I love the turquoise-y color, and I also love the pendant on this piece. It looks like a cute little abacus. I can definitely see myself wearing this.
----------
I was thrilled with my first Designher Kit! I love that the pieces are classic and simple, but have just enough color and uniqueness of design to attract attention. I can't wait to see what Designher Kit has in store for next month.

I bet you could wear the hip chain as a long necklace. From the picture, it looks like you could try it. Of course, it is Friday afternoon and this could be a pre-weekend fever dream. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, you're right. I think a long necklace would be cute. I'll just have to get creative :)
